The Starforge Dominion is a warring civilization led by the Lord Commander. Their homeworld is no world at all, but rather the Sun. Their homes are enormous space stations in orbit around the Sun, all powered by a Dyson Sphere that blocks half of the light from reaching the outer worlds of their enemies. This militaristic nation aims to dominate the Solar System through strength and firepower.

The Descent Guild is a civilization of explorers and adventurers that call the moons of Jupiter their home. They are led by a charismatic leader known as the Perseus. Having left Ancient Terra to start their own colony over 100 years ago, they uncovered ruins of an ancient advanced civilization and have been learning their secrets ever since. This adventurous civilization aims to rule the Solar System through daring and exploration.

The cradle of humanity, Ancient Terra, was almost completely destroyed in the Great War. When the other factions broke away and left Earth, the Terranians remained behind to rebuild their devastated world, and they succeeded. Their homeworld is now a thriving metropolis led by the all-knowing High Dean. This historical civilization aims to rule the Solar System utilizing their history, knowledge, and wisdom, as is their birthright.

Profiteers. The Astero Mining Corporation is led by a secretive leader known as the Prime. A dark shadowy figure that nobody has ever seen. The Astero Mining Corp calls the Kuiper Belt, a ring of asteroids in the center of the Solar System, their home. Utilizing their technology to mine the belt's valuable resources, they trade with many of the outer worlds who need them to survive. With their vast wealth and secretive nature, they aim to control the Solar System through trade, subversion, and sabotage.
rogues
Not an empire per se and with no single leader, but a gathering of loosely affiliated rogues, those who do not, will not, or cannot align with the factions. With outposts dotted around the Solar System, these pirates, mercenaries, thieves, and charlatans are always in search of their next big score. They have no allegiance and will work for any faction that can pay their price.
